In 1991, when the Indian Economy was undergoing rapid liberalization & globalization, our enterprising founder Mr. Ashok Garg recognized the potential that Indian companies had for exporting Indian Surgical Supplies to various countries across the globe. He founded Kumar Impex with an objective to export Surgical Supplies, Hospital Equipment & Health Care Products from India especially to Africa and Middle East because many countries in these regions were at an active stage of development at that time. He had a vision that since Surgical Supplies & other related Health Care Products of European and American origin were quite expensive, people in these regions could benefit immensely from less expensive and equally good quality alternatives available from India as it will lead to a considerable reduction in healthcare costs in these countries.
His vision has been proved right as Indian Surgical Supplies, Hospital Equipment & other related Health Care Products have stood the test of time and are most favored in Africa & Middle East over similar products from other developed countries. Surgical products of Indian origin have in fact proven to be boon for people in these countries as they have lead to improvement in overall healthcare facilities in these countries because of reduced costs and good quality products available from India.
